Towards Independence and Inclusion Disability and Employment Survey BRC took a lead role in a research project where Keighley employers were asked about their experiences and attitudes about employing people with disabilities. What was different about this project was that the researchers had disabilities themselves. All the findings and description of how the project was organised can be downloaded in the PDF of the report.

News From October 2004, the Disability Discrimination Act will place obligations on all organisations - not just those with 15 employees or more - to ensure their employment practice does not discriminate against disabled people.Moves are afoot to set up an Employers? Disability Equality Network in Bradford District - to provide information and resources to employers to help them employ disabled people. |
