Computing and Internet
We have four PCs available
for surfing the 'Net, word-processing, image scanning, desk top publishing,
etc. We also host the Funder-Finder database of grant-giving trusts.
There is no charge to use the PCs and just a small cover charge for any
printing.
A worker is always on hand to help users get the most from our computing
facilities, so we're happy to assist with things like like laying out a CV or
leaflet.
We can handle 3.5" disks, Memory sticks, and have the facility to write
to CD-R*

Use Policy for I.T.
Access to porn sites is banned at BRC. Anyone breaking this rule
will be required to leave the centre.
Chat rooms and instant messaging are not available on BRC computers.
Unless pre-booked, our computers are available on a first come first served
basis and time may be limited to one hour if others are waiting.
